Title: Hi
Post by: Jaycad73 on January 04, 2017, 08:02:AM
Hi everyone,
I've been a 'lurker' on this forum for a number of weeks and thought it was time to introduce myself, my name is Jay and my interest in this case was ignited by a link to the conviction appeal and brief account of the murders which was highlighted on social media by a well known British actress, From my occasional visits to this forum I can see that there is a wealth of knowledge on every aspect of the case that greatly surpasses my own so if I should ask a question that seems obvious or even silly please bear in mind that I don't have the experience that other forum members may have.
I'd also like to add that, whereas I have my own thoughts on the events, my mind is completely open to the views and opinions of others and I find any new theories exciting-if backed up with evidence that is!
Anyway, that's a sufficient introduction I hope!
Jay

Would only certain other members have expressed a similar humility. Welcome Jay.

Many thanks Lookout!

As long as you like the cabals, endless boring squabbles and threads going off-topic, you will probably enjoy posting. I'm guessing you are aware of this already. For some reason, most of the guilters hide their online status also. The general rule of thumb is that any evidence provided by police and prosecution witnesses is kosher, including edited, unsigned statements from when Ainsley took over. Anything the campaign team or Jeremy Bamber claims should obviously be dismissed (unless it can somehow be construed by some interpretation as working against him - in which case the reverse applies).

Haha-thanks Roch! Yes, I've seen a difference of opinion turn into squabbling on every forum that I've been on regarding various subjects, I guess when someone feels passionate about something it's easy to take criticism personally and react likewise-I've certainly been guilty of that on many occasions but I hope that I've learned my lesson and I shall certainly strive to respect others views and remain open minded throughout my time here! My posts will probably be infrequent to begin with as I attempt to digest the many loose ends and theories that are inevitably left in the ashes of a poorly handled police investigation, which this case was-whether one believes Bamber to be guilty as charged or the victim of a MOJ.

You could turn this on its head - and actually stand in awe of the police - that they still managed to pull off a conviction, via a concocted exhibit and a prosecution witness who needed to be 'cleaned' and then carted-off across the pond out of the way.

Perhaps we shouldn't knock their efforts.

To be truthful Roch, I don't know how I hid my online status, I cannot remember how or why I did it, the truth is I don't know how to turn it back on?  It makes no difference to me.

Please don't turn it back on for my sake. It will be somewhere in your profile settings. Only administrators can view your actions if it is switched on. So for example, it's not possible for members to see which thread you are currently viewing or whether you are sending PM's etc etc.
