Title: Thinking of sending a FOI request to the national archives.

Although my youth will enable me to eventually see these files in the distant future. I don't want to wait that long.

Any ideas of what I should put in the request? I cant just say I don't want to wait 30 years.

The National Archives are not that far from me. In the unlikely event an FOI works. I will of course report back here.

2054 ? Is this the sort of archaic system we're still dealing with ? Everyone involved will be dead---or daft.

I will be 64 by then. Unless I die of unnatural causes, I will eventual get to see it.  :-\

David, what I meant was that I don't rate your chances of a reply, and not that you won't see 2054.

Short of a British Julian Assange or Chelsea Manning you'll have to wait the full term.
