it hasnt been proved thats shes dead. so i think murder is not really an apropriate title for the doc

the 2 people they chraged with her murder were almost certanly innocent and the did not convict them.

A difficult case to prove in a court of law, but I think those two are guilty.

I think possibly because Charlene had drifted into prostitution, was taking money for sexual favours or had been groomed by the two defendants. As we know subsequently from Rochdale, Rotherham, Oxford and others this was not uncommon, though to end up in murder this was an extreme case. Maybe Rebecca just didn't want to face facts, felt embarrassed about talking about it or still had feelings of guilt about the whole business.

but theres no evdence the 2 defendants ever met her even if what is said about them is true theres no proven link between them and charlene what about all her dads rather dubious mates.

there is also the matter of her mum waiting a day t reprt her missing.

It wouldn't surprise me as Albathiki was a Jordanian and Reveshi Iranian, so outside the main Muslim Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities. As for the mother she wasn't an ideal parent as social services had stepped in a number of times previously and may well have been on the brink of putting Charlene into care.

I agree, I don't think it was the two Asian guys and the tape translation was very dodgy! The family seemed to have lots of peado's in their house and the guy mentioned at the end might lead to something. I hope they find out what happened to her and that she is still alive but I very much doubt it.
