There's not much information on the case. It depended on eyewitness testimony and unless that is undermined it doesn't look hopeful. She does seem to have a strong alibi though. http://www.pictame.com/media/472078748934420521_3854045

well that doc made a convincing case for innocence but id have to see some other sources before I committed myself.

17 years does seem a long time to spend in jail for the crime.
