These three witness statements are arguably the most important statements of the city of London police investigation, which specifically deal with the issues of the Silencer(s). More significantly the silencer that was found on the 11th of September 1985, which Ann Eaton handed to the police on that date. This silencer (DRB/1) did not get sent to the lab at Huntingdon until the 20th September 1985. It must follow, therefore, that the blood evidence which has been attributed to Sheila Caffell could not possibly have been found inside this particular silencer, by virtue of the fact that it did not arrive at the lab until an occasion after the blood group evidence had already been found inside the other silencer (DB/1) and analysed by that stage..

From the research that I have been able to conduct with respect to this matter, I can say with a degree of certainty that the two main characters involved in manipulating two silencers into one, involved police inspector Miller and detective Constable Whiddon who it appears were responsible for causing the different exhibit references to a silencer, by different witnesses, at different times (SBJ/1, SJ/1, DB/1 and DRB/1) to appear to have been one and the same silencer on all occasions, but this cannot possibly have been true for a number of obvious reasons!
