well ruddick ill give you and homes was good but consdreble older than tyson when thy fught and bruno i woudent describ as a oood fighter let alone a great one.

Holmes was 38 & had been out of boxing for nearly two years, having retired after two consecutive losses to Michael Spinks. 

Ruddock's two best fights were against Tyson, where he went the distance against a past his best Tyson, but didn't do much else. Ruddock then lost in two against Lewis.

Bruno was a respected fighter but would always lose when moving up a level.

However a pre Buster Douglas/ prison Tyson could have beaten anyone in my view.

Bruno was slightly ahead of Lennox Lewis on the scorecards until Lewis KOed him in the 6th with illegal tactics. He was also the first to wobble Tyson in thier first fight. Very underrated fighter IMO.

A much older Larry Holmes went the distance with Evander Holyfied in the early 90s. While prime Tyson anhiliated the younger Lary Holmes in four rounds. It just goes to show how much Tyson had declined when he fought Holyfied.

Tyson remains the only person to ever knock out Larry Holmes.

Was watching some George Foreman Youtube videos recently. His 1980's & 90's fights.

People laughed at him but he wobbled Holyfield & Tommy Morrison prior to beating Micheal Moorer. He also hurt Shannon Briggs in his last fight.

Foreman could knock out an opponent with a straight jab.

In his prime Tyson would never have beaten Lewis in his prime.
Most all time greats have the odd fight where they under estimate their opponent, Ali in his Prime was almost knocked out by Henry Cooper after which, Ali finished him off.
