Miscarriage of Justice ?
« on: June 19, 2018, 09:00:PM »

Just starting

Conviction: Murder in Suburbia
9pm, BBC Two
In 2003, Glyn Razzell, a former investment manager from Swindon, was convicted of murdering his wife, Linda, from whom he was estranged. Her body has never been found; the conviction was based on bloodstains found in the boot of the car that matched his DNA. He has always protested his innocence. In this two-part documentary, we follow the progress of Louise Shorter from the group Inside Justice as she and a mostly female team of investigators re-examine this extraordinary case. David Stubbs

Guilty. I fail to understand why they took the case up.
The handing over the wrong trousers as well as the blood evidence

Totally agree and the fact that his phone managed to 'switch itself off' at such a convenient time, during the two-hour walk when no one saw him.

He should admit it and tell them what he did with her body. He's due for release soon
and he'll have no one.

I can't remember what conclusions they came to last time they did one of these. Anyone remember?

Will he be released if he fails to admit his guilt?
I think the last time they concluded he was guilty.

Yes, he was due for release in a few years time. He wasn't given a whole life tariff.

This man is a very violent character. Because of this his wife had made accusations of domestic abuse in the past--of which he'd been acquitted once the court heard the full facts.

Linda suffered mental health problems for a long time and had been hospitalised in a psychiatric unit.

After an acrimonious divorce Linda had found it difficult in accepting Glyn's new partner and had become very bitter towards this new relationship.

Where does Linda's relationship come into this ? Her partner was her best friend's husband. Do we know if he was questioned or have I missed something ?

I can't commit either way as yet------guilty or innocent.
