The mystery is where her body is located. My hunch is that it's still in some nook on Box Hill. I doubt the father had anything to do with his daughter's disappearance; more likely he was caught up in the crossfire between her and his new wife.

no they wuld of found it by now if it was  its a populer site for dog walking it would of been sniffed out by now.

Well I just see two concerned individuals at 16:28, probably a lot more mature now after the passage of time, just as mystified as everyone else as to why Ruth disappeared. I am surprised that none of the villagers has come forward to be interviewed, which does make me wonder again about the role of father Ian Wilson, but this would only be speculation. The flowers take on a sinister significance, the satirical gift to the stereotypical wicked stepmother and makes me think she was planning her own death, though with Surrey Police stymieing the investigation it seems everything is still very much up in the air.

Yes I got the feeling that she wasn't a particularly popular student, though there's nothing necessarily wrong in that. Maybe the locals didn't know much about her. I'd be interested to know about the school she attended and whether the rules were particularly strict and how much free time she did get. Was her disappearance retaliation for her dad keeping the secret of her mother's death all those years, were the flowers meant to be put on her grave, was that her carrying a navy blue suitcase along Reigate Road or was the truth more prosaic as Catherine claimed, namely that she just had nowhere to go?

Yes I agree and had I disappeared I would expect someone from the local church to offer themselves up for interview. I can only assume that the Wilsons were like some of my fellow-parishoners, readily attaching themselves to the ceremonies but not always attending regularly on Sundays.

well at fureauls vicars talk confidently about people they have never eve met so the local vicar would be able to talk about one of his ow parssiners eve if they didn't know them that well I mean she was a bell riger.
