If a man has children by one woman, and then later marries another woman who has children by a different man, the children would be step brothers and sisters. If the children share the same mother or father, they're half brothers and sisters.

They're one and the same relationships-----step/half,they still share a blood group from either parent.

I have just realised that Caroline has cropped the toes and nail varnish out from both feet before uploading this >:(

Then xxx xxx Caroline accuses me of being selective with what I post  >:(

Xxxx - that's the picture I saved and it was saved exactly the way you posted it. If anyone cropped it YOU DID!

Step siblings would be non blood related. Half siblings would share a single parent. Full siblings would share both parents.

No they don't. Step brothers and sisters don't share one parent, but half brothers and sisters do.

That's right, it two people who marry and already have children from a previous relationship.

All these years and I've never looked at it in that light, though I never did distinguish between the relationships of the children, they were always brother and sisters and were treated as such.
Probably never gave it a thought and just cracked on with the 4 children.
Thankyou for putting me right.

Well there you are. It seems that some things aren't that important.

Anyway, the envelope was addressed to Roland, and the contents had clearly been used, so how did Nevill or June get hold of it? Did Jeremy know it was there, and why did David destroy it?

Well DB wouldn't have wanted it to have been broadcast that there was a " junkie " on their side of the family--------who were ever so squeaky clean.

Possibly. I'm surprised that Mr Cock didn't stop David destroying something which he had no right to. Roland Pargeter wasn't related to David anyway.

Yes he knew about it, he mentioned to AE that when she opened the safe, she would get a shock.
