I actually do think the Savile's crimes are exaggerated. But of course the abuse scandal was real. I think the best way to put it is once the snake was exposed many false claims and media frenzy have made the snake seem like a dragon. Having sex with deadpeople in mortuaries and taking body parts I dont think happened. Even if half the people who have claimed to have been molested are lying the other half of genuine victims is still a scandalous number of victims.

Alot of people do jump on board when a case like this happens... and like to play the victim, odd.
