Sheila may have worn a dress or skirt when out shopping and changed into more comfortable clothes on their return.

The shop keeper said she was wearing peddle pushers/Capri pants!!!

Whatever. They were last seen damp and hanging over the bannister.

Could the leggings found in soak be described as peddle pushers/capri pants ?

Could any of the clothes on the bed in the photo be described as peddle pushers/capri pants ?

I didn't know there were any soaking leggings or tops.

There weren't. The 2 pairs of trousers in the other bucket were the boys'. There were leggings hanging over the banister but whether they were still wet is anyone's guess.

Leggings -other than having two legs- bear no resemblance to peddle pushers/Capri pants.

Even in the opinion of a man ?

(I am assuming the shop assistant was male)

It applies to everyone. The topic is rather pointless don't you think?

Off the top of my head, I'd say around 3pm. I say this because afterwards they visited an old lady who was a friend of Junes, for tea, I believe. Tea would be taken at 4pm. It's a little ritual which is still adhered to by the elderly genteel.
