It looks like an open and shut case to me, with echoes from Mark Lundy, Jeremy Bamber and Paula Gilfoyle running through my mind.  https://youtu.be/3XNFCE6lkv0

Well can you point me to it because I've sat through the 40 minutes and the only thing the Defence seemed to have is that Laci knew her husband had bought a boat.

Well I've learned not to underestimate you after you reminded me the suicide notes in the Eddie Gilfoyle case weren't adduced in court. There's a woman here who claims Peterson had confessed to her. I don't know enough about this case to know whether he could have killed her at a later time.  http://www.modbee.com/news/local/article3099445.html

well at first I thought they new witness miht of just been mistaken and it was somebody else they say walking a dog but to many have come forward now to make that really credible.

unless theres another woman who looks a lot like lacy and has the same dog.

Its always been a flimsy conviction based on a few strands of circumstantial evidence.

- He spoke of his wife in the past tense before she was confirmed dead.

- He told a girlfriend he lost his wife (before she went missing).

- He sold some of his wife's belongings before while she was missing and not confirmed dead.

Lousy evidence because there was no physical evidence. I keep an open mind.

i thought he was guilty just becouse the body was found at sea and he was on a boat that day but i cant see all these witness who say the saw his wife walking the dog could be wrong and theyve got no reason to lie.

i mean 1 or 2 could be mistaken but 33 i dont think they could of all got it wrong.

I have followed this case for ages Nugs
Julie Mugford the main prosecution witness was guilty of numerous crimes, 13 separate cheque frauds, robbery, and drug dealing and also making a deal with a national newspaper before trial that if she could convince a jury her ex boyfriend was guilty of five murders she would receive £25,000

i thought he did it just becouse and he was on aboat that day and the body was found at sea. but now it seems more or less impossble to have actully done the deed.

so unless they can prove the exitence of a hitman he really should be released.

But the body was found within two miles of where he was fishing. Given the vastness of the USA's waters I would have thought that was enough proof combined with the other circumstantial evidence.
