Cheers Hartley.  Sounds time consuming!  :P

If you do a Google search for pdf to image, you can upload the pdf then download the images of each page in one go.

Then edit your post and attach page one, click add another and repeat.

It's a 5-10 minute job.

Spot on cheers.

No worries.
You might lose some resolution on the images but it's still pretty good.

Hi Caroline - is this the right place to ask?  Can you please advise me how I modify my first post on the PC West thread - so that it actually displays the document in question - or is this not possible?

BTW - thanks for your technical services to the forum   8)

Sorry, just seen this but I see you got the answer anyway :)

Yes thanks.  I went to do what Hartley advised and ended up downloading a zip file of all pages.  After that I got stuck.  The pages also looked huge - as if you would have to scroll along in a post to be able to read them?

Can I please ask the following:

How can a PDF be uploaded in to a post - so that it's visible within the post - instead of just being an attachment which has to be downloaded?

Thanks...

I explained it to you before.

PDF's can only be attachments, you need to convert each page to an image file and attach them individually to have them visable.

Hartley - on another matter.. not strictly technical!

Do you happen to know or could you hazard a guess - where the document is from the DPP that sanctions the go-ahead for prodecution of JB?  Adam wants to know what the DPP were presented with by EP - and I think there are references made to that - in the DPP's letter.

There's a letter to EP from the crown's representitive re prosecutions  - basically saying - yes - we feel you have enough to go ahead and prosecute JB for 5 murders.  Adam is keen to see it - but I cant remember where it might be on the forum.

I don't recall seeing such a thing, but if it exists I could probably locate it.

Thanks. I am actually trying to find out what evidence was submitted to the DPP in late September 1985.
