The mysterious disappearance of bank employee Trevor Deely
« on: November 26, 2016, 05:45:PM »
This is a cold case of a young man who vanished from Dublin town centre sixteen years ago after a night out with friends. There is CCTV footage of a man talking to him outside his place of work and some time later possibly the same man following Trevor closely as he walked home, curiously not the shortest route as he may have made a detour to buy cigarettes from a Spar supermarket. There has been all kind of speculation since from a broken love affair in Alaska which led to his suicide, that he accepted a lift that December morning and became the victim of foul play, that he may have been run over and his body concealed, or that he accidentally fell into the canal. His body has never been found. https://youtu.be/vvOvkVb6jrM

It's still not clear why a criminal gang would target this young man at random, unless they had designs on the bank. https://www.independent.ie/irish-news/new-witness-backs-up-gardais-theory-that-trevor-deely-killed-in-row-with-gang-38755889.html
