anyway david's dismantling. how did bullet cases end up on different sides of the body david.david's answer it probaly hit the bedside cabinet and landed there ,impossible .we will have to take david's posts the same as we do mike's

He could be right, after JB shot Sheila twice, one of the bullet cases bounced and ended up on the other side.

In neither on of those examples, did the police use a witness to wear a recoding device. The police bugged hotel rooms to obtain the recordings. Not quite the same as what you (and previously I) contemplated. They are both quite a long while after 1985 and the most elaborate sting, is in Canada.

I remember this.

Julie had already betrayed Bamber 20 days after the massacre by telling another person what she knew. Dispite this Bamber still apparently jilted  her so he could go to St Tropez with Brett.

After going to the police, a jilted Julie was supposed to somehow get back into Bamber's life & get an audio confession from him.

The police didn't attempt this. History has shown they didn't need to.
