To be honest, as this cse is no longer a miscarriage of justice, it has no place on the forum??
Totally agree caroline.

It has nothing to do with Stephanie. The whole thing is going to be very raw for all those affected including Simon's family and having such such things discussed on the internet while they are trying to come to terms with events, isn't going to help.
Forgive me for saying so but this post makes no sense at all.  Why not call for a stop to discussions on here months ago?
Having spent years keeping the story 'alive' via Internet and news mediums, Halls supporters cannot now expect protection from the same said sources. They gave scant regard to the feelings of the bereaved and her family, why on earth should they be saved from reading a few comments from half a dozen people, on a web site that barely anyone reads?

And what of the feelings of the Bamber family?

Simon Hall had contact with Mrs Albert during her murder. Whether he was the one to actually carry out the killing or whether he had an accomplice is what remains unknown. Hall lied about what clothes he had been wearing that night/morning. The clothes he had been wearing shed fibres that were found on Mrs Albert,in her hall, around the broken window,on fence post in her back garden and still six months later were found in Simons family home, another house he moved on to and in two of his cars. Thousands of these fibres. Forensics tested some sixty odd other cars and houses and found only three. The fibre evidence is very compelling indeed!

I totally don't.

I think that as long as people want to discuss this case they should be able to.

I can't how it is disrupting the forum.

Our discussion can't be upsetting Mrs Alberts family anywhere near as much as what has previously been posted.

If you aren't interested then don't read it.

If the argument is that all discussion should be Bamber related, then very well, I can understand that, but as long as there are threads on here about all manner of other subjects then your argument just doesn't stack up.

Having been involved in another high profile MoJ case I also helped a little in the early (pre Mrs H) part of this campaign so I feel I have a right to discuss the turn the case has now taken. I actually attended SH appeal and thought the evidence was very circumstantial at best. I gave SB as much help and advice as possible and was astounded at her commitment to this case. I've witnessed her chasing Michael Mansfield out of a UAI meeting to ask his help with this campaign. All of this work and more was p##sed out the window by Mrs H for petty jealously. Am I sorry if this hurts her feeling, NO. Have people got the right to discuss the SH case YES. Nuff said for now..... >:(

i thought it funny that there were no trace of broken glass found on his car considering he was supposed to have brocken a window to get in a  of course that does not actually make him innocent it just means he dident brake the window.

That's an excellent summary.

As the Simon Hall campaign progressed, it seemed that people lost sight of this most compelling piece of evidence.
I was forever reading the Kier Starmer quote about breaking this piece of evidence and the whole case falling apart.  Thing is, this evidence was re-examined in minute detail and still it held up.

Nugnug, the broken window didn't necessarily get broken with a fist. I believe the broken window was a red herring anyway,I've always believed it was broken from the INSIDE anyway, and I've read Mrs Hall state this elsewhere too.

That old turkey, SH mother was a friend of Mrs A she spent time at her house, she also spent time in SH car and at her own home it is not unreasonable to think that any fibres could have happened via this route. Reasonable doubt anyone?  Not that it matters now tbh

And what of the feelings of the Bamber family?

The relatives in the Bamber case are actually part of the case!! And I very much doubt anyone who supported Simon Hall and campaigned for him thought he was guilty!! Should they be maligned because they supported a family member and refused to think he could be capable of such a vile act?

To be honest, I have no interest in this case but when people start talking about displaying personal information on the open forum then I think they need to evaluate why they are here and how they would feel if their personal Facebook page or details were posted here??

Not all discussion on this site is about miscarriages of justice.
I don't understand why this thread should be any less valid than one about Meteor showers.

I think that a lot of topics on here probably shouldn't be (I'm not referring to the Meteor shower one, by the way) but I wouldn't dare be so disrespectful as to suggest what people should and shouldn't be able to talk about. So long as all forum rules are adhered to, of course.
