In thw grand scheme of things, Mugford must have bewn charges with various criminal offences, and geanted bail, until DPP decised she could be urilized better to support the prosecutions case, wirh an unblemished criminal record - in other words Mugsy was one of those dodgy characters, who is primised immunity from prosecution if they are prepared to give evidence against another from the witness box...

I tend to agree and the cheque book fraud saga points to this being the case!!

The jury were well aware of Julie's criminal history along with the cannabis-smoking which inadvertently came out at trial,which if necessary would have proceeded in any case without Julie,Robert Boutflour being the main instigator along with the relatives' silencer evidence.

Yah, they weren't too enamoured with her testimony which is why they asked for the silencer evidence again!!
