The Bamber case shows killers will make up unlikely stories.

It doesn't seem likely that Sheila Caffell could 'make-up an unlikely story'.  If Sheila could recount the content of the hallucinations she experienced, it could considerably benefit our understanding of what took place in the farmhouse.  Obviously that is never going to happen - because she perished as a consequence of the same hallucinations.

Those hallucinations are very real to the sufferer too. To them they are " real life " that is happening to them and coupled with the voices giving orders as is usually the way,those orders have to be obeyed.
