i see her release in July 2011 was kept rather low key
Lee Harveys parents fought tirelessly to keep her in prison

i dont see any reason why she shouldent be realeased others have committed far worse murders and been released.

i mean it was only a spur of the moment domestic murder.

I thought it had been all over, like when she had facial surgery, I saw it in the papers. I don't think there was much time between Tracie Andrews and Karen Matthews coming out but I can't be sure.
Jane Andrews is about due for coming out too, if that hasn't happened.

"only a spur of the moment domestic murder" That makes it ok does it?
Have you ever been a victim of domestic violence? As for Lee Harveys parents, i dont blame them for wanting her kept inside, they must be devastated.

She had a bad temper and often turned on him, then stabbed him. Sorry, but she should still be locked up.

I dont think 42 stab wounds is classed as a domestic?

I agree with you Andrea, domestic violence is horrendous and a murdered child, however old is just that no matter whether it was planned or a whim.  She must be a controlling bully.

Thats exactly what she was, Maggie.

This is the sort of attitude that was widespread in the 70's and 80's, "oh its only a domestic". Domestic violence is shameful and affects those involved for years, it never leaves you or your children.

Can't imagine how you ever deal with something like that.  The urge to kill must be very strong, I don't believe in the death penalty but I can understand that.
