Righto mate I consider my self chastised, but still have no clue on this.
I didn't know until I heard it on the radio this morning. So I looked it up in yesterday's newspaper. It just struck me because of a couple of similarities with JB's case. The main part being the cops sitting on the evidence. And the very fact of them doing that meant that it was a miscarriage of Justice. I thought that if it was a MOJ in Gilfoyle's case then what can't that be the approach of the Bamber defence team?

Unfortunately there are so many examples of this type of behaviour by the police.

Hello,

I have been following Jeremy's case for a long time now and wholeheartedly support his case and innocence. I am also consequently the niece of Eddie Gilfoyle and the daughter of the Police Man you refer to - Paul Caddick. I can confirm that he was the one who found Paula's body in the garage and that Eddie did not get a penny for the house, as far as I know it went to Paula's family.

Eddie has also done various interviews over the past few days on TV BBC News and Granada, here are the links for your interest:

http://www.itv.com/granada/gilfoyle-evidence-claim96679/

This is also a radio interview with Paddy O'Connell on Radio 4 with Eddie, it is a very emotional interview. Starts at 6.40.

We have actually created a petition a few days ago to ask why these files have been kept for so long when they are so crucial to his trial and try to get justice for Eddie, we are trying to raise as much awareness as possible for his case, so if you wouldn't mind, we'd really appreciate it if you could circulate this petition and please sign:

Thank you, I can't tell you how much we appreciate it!

How did you find the diaries ? If you don't mind me asking !! What i mean is why did your solicitor go to Bebington police station in 2010 ?

Eddie's Solicitor, Matt Foot, went to the police station to find out what documents/evidence were not used as evidence  at trial to see if we could find any more info or any other clues/evidence - anything really of any use to his case. This 'black box' wasnt on the list of evidence that was not used at trial (exhibit list), in fact the only reason he got it was because he asked the right question "Is this ALL of the evidence?" the police man said yes, and then when Matt said he wanted the Police man to sign a piece of paper to say that this was definately all of the evidence and if this was not correct he would be held to account - he said actually there is another box! obviously this police man didnt want to be tarnished with the corruptioin brush and was covering his hide. Matt went back the next day and collected the box from the station and then we discovered the diaries. Had he not have asked the question, we would never have known about them as they were never listed, even though they are CRUCIAL and damning evidence. It sickens me to the core! Could JB's solicitor do something like this do you think? it wouldn't surprise me if they have done similar in his case too, might be worth a shot??
