That's a good bit of information incase any forum members are thinking of bumping of their wives

So Adrian prout wouldn't have inherited the farm when he was convicted of killing his wife although I though his girlfriend still lived at the farm

Adrian Prout would not have been able to inherit his wife's share of the farm following his conviction for her murder.  The farm is I understand being sold and his wife's share of the sale proceeds (together with anything else in her estate) will all go to her next of kin excluding Adrian Prout.

Possibly.  I have not read much about the case so I am not able to express any opinion about it.

Eddie Gilfoyle. Strange how this case is similar in some ways to Jeremy's case.
Police have been accused of sitting on secret diaries which could have helped free Gilmore who has been locked up since 1993 for murdering his wife. The prosecution said that he made her death look like a suicide. It has emerged that Mrs. Gilfoye's diaries allegedly reveal she once took an overdose. EG said that he was completely devastated that the police failed to hand these diaries to his defence.
They hope to convince that the very fact they held onto this evidence means that he failed to get a fair trial. Perhaps Jeremy could claim the same thing?

I told you. He is a man who has spent a long time in prison for murdering his wife. They've just found some evidence which could have helped him years ago if the old bill hadn't had their fat arses larded on it.
