Andrew Kehoe

This morning I came across this interesting character in the world of true crime, Andrew Kehoe.

Having never committed any serious crimes previously, In 1927(aged 55) he blew up a school killing 45 people including himself after blowing up his house killing his Wife. He left this sign out on what was left of his property

Actually there's anecdotal evidence that he tinkered with the fuel in an oil stove whose explosion killed his stepmother. Was he still grief stricken at the loss of his natural mother and did he regard his stepmother as a usurper, much as Bamber regarded his nephews? There was also evidence he was cruel to animals as a teenager just as Bamber used to shoot the peachicks on the Farm. Neither interested in farming and both had altercations with authority at board meetings. With the death of his wife(did he kill her after realizing she was terminally ill?) there was nothing left he cared about in the world and the killings of 38 children was much an act of revenge as the Bamber murders for how he perceived his parents had treated him down the years.

How can you compare Jeremy to a suicide bomber? This man snapped over losing his job and house, so decided to kill himself and take many people with him. Sound's much more like Sheila if you ask me   :o

But mass murderers don't appear out of a vacuum, as you would be well to understand with Bamber, Kehoe and Bain. It is years of unbearable tension for them and the trigger to execute their plan might be the one last straw which breaks the camel's back, such as Bain crashing a motorbike, Kehoe's wife's illness or even Nevill's mobile phone not functioning.

Sheila was not about to be kicked out of Moreshead Mansions and in her more lucid periods must have known that she would be well provided for long term.
