David Bain
« on: December 22, 2011, 08:39:AM »
Have just bought the book "Bain and Beyond" by Joe Karam.
Has anyone read it?
Its about David Bain from New Zealand whose case mirrors Jeremy's.
He was convicted of murdering all of his family and accused of placing the rifle in his fathers hand.
Years later,at appeal,it was proved that his father could indeed have commited suicide with the rifle after he had murdered the rest of the family.
Bain is now a free man!

No,neither had I!
Have you googled him and read up on his case? It is so similar to Jeremys that it is uncanny.
Sorry,he didnt get out on appeal as such (as stated in my last post). He was aquitted at a retrial.
Apparantly the case was really big news in NZ back in 1994.

Hi Tyler... I was reading about this case earlier tonight. Ironically it does mirror the Bamber case....After the 3rd appeal he won a re-trial and in the end it was a case of murder/suicide....5 members of his family dead.  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Didn't Patti start a thread on David Bain? He's a quintuple murderer pure and simple. His guru Joe Karam can't even say he's innocent, just that he thought there were irregularities in the case, which is upsetting in the extreme. David is now sipping Pinot Noir from his apartment with a view of the Waitakere Ranges in Auckland whilst the five family members he murdered lie together in a gravestone David condemned them to in Dunedin.http://davidbain.counterspin.co.nz/
