Very few of the firearms team tell us what firearms they were supposed to have been using.
Hall is one of these few and claims to have been equipped with a shotgun. Was this really the case or are told he was carrying a shotgun so we think he cannot have fired a bullet?

He claims to have played a specific role in gathering equipment prior to entry including specifically mentioning the sledgehammer. Of all people to be sent to get such things it seems odd if he is already encumbered with a shotgun to carry. This raises doubt in my mind as to whether he really carried a shotgun.

I'm sure that on first entering the house there were 2 bodies seen in the kitchen, one  a female.
But now these typed reports claim just the one, that of a male. Puzzling !!

We have 3 officers all claiming to be providing cover (for Collins, Delgado, Woodcock) from the doorway of the main bedroom at basically the same time.  Bearing in mind the claimed position of June's body and that none of the 3 mentions the other 2 ..something is obviously wrong with these claims.
These 3 officers were Hall, Webb and Manners.

Hall's statement in particular has him not really entering the main bedroom , only being in the doorway but oddly he then describes Sheila's body and a rifle on top of it which could not be seen from the doorway. Manners similarly describes Sheila's body but also makes no mention of moving from the doorway to check Sheila which is another problem.
Webb makes no comment about viewing Sheila's body etc.which does fit with him not entering the bedroom other than standing in the doorway.

Hall has Manners opening the main external door of the house prior to the search team using the main stairs (mirroring or not). He claims it was opened to provide an escape route which is odd as others do not seem to report this..the adjoining dining room window was opened to supposedly provide an escape route for this end of the house acording to others.
Manners himself only claims to open the main door after the search was more or less completed.

The issues with Hall's claims seem to be stacking up.

According to Hall's account , Mildenhall joined him up near the top of the main stairs prior to Sheila's body being discovered.  This conflicts totally with Mildenhall's account and does not seem possible or credible.

Is it credible that Hall was covering the passageway several officers were going down from the doorway of the main bedroom. Ie they were going down that passageway and he was providing cover for them...
bit risky ....in my view...even with a rifle or handgun.
Now with a shotgun it seems utterly pointless...as if he had to fire it he would most likely end up hitting other officers....so did he really do as he says and really have a shotgun?

Hall also specifically claims to cover Collins at Collin's request when Collins approached the door to the back stairs in the kitchen. The specific nature of these claims and that of having a shotgun cannot be passed over as mistakes. Either Hall is telling lies or is telling the truth on these issues.

Now please refer to the crime scene picture of the kitchen with the table out of place and shoved up towards the dresser. (There are numerous issues about the table as though some staging has taken place) NB ..Even the diagram in which Hammersley shows the location of supposed bullet cases is in conflict as that places the table in the middle of the room.

From the photograph showing the so called scene it is clear that only one approach to open the door could be used...ie to the left of the table.
Hall using the SHOTGUN is asked to provide cover on the back stairs door (why not Delgado or Woodcock?)...Hall from his description basically places himself the other side of Ralph.
Effectively....Hall could not cover that door from such a position or even any others using  a shotgun of all things so it cannot possibly be true. Something or things are clearly wrong. Either the table was located very differently from shown in the picture to allow Collins a different approach and/or Hall did not have a shotgun or the whole episode is complete fabrication and the truth is very different.

Still playing along with the police claims about what happened (and how false they must be).

Lets continue on with this supposed approach to the back stairs door in the kitchen by Collins.
It can be established from the statements that Manners entered the kitchen after Hall was already stationed by the opened door at the bottom of the back stairs.

So we have supposedly Collins approaching the back stairs door covered by Hall with his shotgun pointing at Collins back as he approached that door ...hmm
So the other 2 officers...Delgado and Woodcock...we presume they were training their weapons on the  closed pantry door and the wide open doorway to the hall.

What is important as well is the positions Delgado and Woodcock must have been in at this time of Collins approach to the back stairs door. We should remember that in other evidence we are clearly told 2  upturned stools were to the side of the table preventing ready access to the 2 doors being covered. Therefore taking into accounts the angles typically that would be taken to provide cover on the closed and opened door mentioned then Delgado and Woodcock would need to in the general area between the table and the kitchen sink. This means that neither could view down the hallway and see if anyone was present there possibly aiming a weapon. Neither could therefore provide any effective cover if anyone had been in the position described for when Collins was approaching the back stairs door and came into their view....remember this door to the hall was described as being wide open.

So going by the police story in which Hall basically has a shotgun pointed at Collins back as he approached the back stairs...Collins would have also been totally vulnerable to a person stationed in the hallway and been a potential sitting duck.

The police story here about early events in the kitchen seems to be falling completely apart as though its mostly fabrication and something very different occurred.
