There is some confusion whether or not this means that Sheila Caffell's body was (a) laid on top of the far side of the bed, from the vantage point of Dr Craig standing at the main bedroom door, or (b) that Sheila's body was laid on the bedroom floor beyond the far side of the bed?
With this in mind, I do not rush to judgement...
Instead, I draw attention to the fact that by the time (around 9.05am) DS Jones and DC Clark visited the main bedroom crime scene, that the bodies of June Bamber and Sheila Caffell' were at this time laid on top of the bed in the main bedroom, side by side, with the anshuzt rifle laid on top of the bed in-between both bodies, and that Sheila's body had a Bible placed upon her chest!
I pose the following proposition - if Sheila's body was laid on the bedroom floor on the far side of the bed at 8.44am, then at least by around 9.05am, the bodies of Sheila and June were laid on top of the bed...
Therefore, proceeding on the basis that Sheila's body had been on the bedroom floor at 8.44am, rather than laid on top of the bed in the main bedroom, then this was a third position in which Sheila's body was positioned / located at /in, prior to the occasion when Sheila Caffell's body ended up on the main bedroom floor! Then, at around 9.05am, a fourth location / position of Sheila Caffell's position before Sheila's body ended up in its final resting place!
By 9.13am, Sheila Caffell's body was on the bedroom floor to the left hand side of the bed, in the general location / position which photographs taken by DC Oakey / DC Henderson (1st SOCO team), by 10.00am, and by 11.00am in photographs taken by PC Bird (2nd SOCO team) - and so, by the time we can say with a degree of certainty as and when Sheila Caffell's body ends up on the main bedroom floor...
