and we will see who is making things up

That's a link to one of my posts pointing out that Brendan said they threw Teresa's jeans in the bonfire. The exact place were they found the buttons belonging to Teresa's jeans. Despite the fact they never gave him such information. Hence he must be involved.

Not sure how that helps your argument.   ???

Here is expert report from Colborns current lawsuit with Netflix and the directors of the series

https://pdfhost.io/v/SfWkuSltc_DECLARATION_OF_TIMOTHY_CORRIGAN_Ph_D.pdf

"Documentary film and video have used many strategies across numerous platforms for 125 years. Contemporary documentaries are more popular than ever before, and they now thrive on a variety of streaming sites. The traditional or conventional categories of documentary, as fundamentally non-fiction and non-narrative forms, have more and more been abandoned as a self-evident goal. More often than not, current documentaries compromise with the strategies of entertainment fiction and narrative suspense, often undermining their status as objective or unbiased accounts of any topic. That is certainly the case with Making a Murderer."

Some interesting developments in the last two weeks.

Netflix are defending themselves in Colborns lawsuit by saying its viewers are not dumb enough to actually believe the show. They argued -

"As such, it insults the intelligence of MaM’s millions of viewers to suggest that any reasonable subset of them uncritically believed that everything said in MaM by a convicted murderer, his family, and his defense lawyers had been confirmed as accurate and was endorsed by the documentary itself."

And Avery tried appealing by falsifying his expert's findings and it was denied. The COA stated -

"Avery cannot obtain relief by falsifying his expert's findings on appeal."

Oh dear...

That "documentary" series is fictional. Avery got his compensation for his wrongful imprisonment. He was not setup the second time.

This was said at his sentencing.

"The fact that everyone acknowledged that you had been wrongly convicted made you a subject of sympathy, not only in this community, but across the State. The State legislature introduced legislation which bore your name, extending greater protections to those accused of crimes in order to reduce the future potential for wrongful convictions. Legislators were questioning whether the State shouldn't be increasing the maximum amount of compensation which can be awarded to persons who were wrongfully incarcerated.

You were also the plaintiff in a civil suit against Manitowoc County, which promised to bring you significant compensation for your lengthy period of wrongful incarceration. Even with the specter of the homicide charges in this case hanging over your head, your attorneys were able to settle that case for $400,000. However, despite having the widespread sympathy of the public, and the prospects for a significant financial award, you committed the horrible crime that brings you here to be sentenced today.

All the evidence suggests that this was not a crime of passion, but rather of planned premeditation. There is no indication, that I saw in the trial, that you were under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time. The victim was not a acquaintance with which you had any particular relationship that could have given rise to any type of domestic disturbance, but was a mere business acquaintance. Moreover, the crime was not the result of a youthful lapse of judgement; you were 43 years old at the time you committed the crime.

In terms of assessing your danger to society, the evidence forces me to conclude that you are probably the most dangerous individual ever to set foot in this courtroom."

it was not fictional at all most of it was inside the court so you were listening to what was actually said at trial

Are you sure he was set up?

I know he has got a top lawyer now who specialises in miscarriages of justice

imo jackie this is a complete MoJ , i am appalled at the way stephen avery was treated and i tend to believe kathleen zellner rather than david on this. she has got 20 people exonerated so far and genuinely believes he is innocent

The victims burned bones were found outside his house where he had an 8 hour bonfire the night she disappeared. The murder weapon was found hanging up on his wall. Blood from a cut on Avery's finger was found inside the victims car. His next door neighbour said they both raped and killed her. Avery confessed to his civil lawyers on the phone and has confessed to other inmates.

the victims bones were found in the dassey burn barrel and in the quArry miles away. what did he do burn her there then bring them back and put them in the dassey burn barrel ?

I don’t think Steven Avery sounds a very nice man but that is no excuse for what looks like plenty of misconduct by the police and that’s where I compare it with the Bamber case. The police got really nasty when they kept getting caught out. I watched the Amanda Knox documentary who was presumed guilty partly because of her behaviour after the murders. No evidence?
Sounds like the Bamber Scenario.

I would never trust the police after what you see on these documentaries

i wouldn’t either jackie

No you cant. Because you made it up.

If the following witnesses have all recanted the following, the burden is on you to prove it. If its "well documented" as you claim then you should have no problem providing the relevant material.

it’s all documented david but you have already said u didn’t watch series 2 and the documents are all there for anyone to read
