Hallo, Liebhaber der Wahrheit.

Hallo, Liebhaber der Wahrheit.

Erinnert euch dass der Teufel steckt im Detail.

Caryatids
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caryatid

"A caryatid is a sculpted female figure serving as an architectural support taking the place of a column or a pillar supporting an entablature on her head."

The caryatids in the Bamber case are those apparently well meaning people who say they think Bamber is innocent while being solid opponents of conspiracy theories.

The metaphor runs like this. The entablature being supported is like the prosecution's case and the figures underneath are supporters who believe he is innocent while still supporting the police and staunchly opposing those who say that the police framed Bamber.

There is a very good post by Frankie Lee at Injustice Anywhere where he talks about a culture of ignoring evidence in the Bamber case.

"In discussions relating to the Bamber case, a culture of ignoring evidence has developed to an absurd degree. Ordinarily, police records count as evidence, but It has become the custom among participants to casually dismiss paperwork, even when there are several mutually corroborative entries. These records are routinely said to be "mistaken" even when three or more written reports tally."

In such a context argument can, indeed, seem futile.

Freundliche Grüße

Nice Bernard Hepton avatar.  I liked him in that program and also in Tinker Tailor.

I can see your point and I agree to an extent.  However, it has to be balanced against misinterpretation of documents.  Seeing what you want to see, despite there being a more likely or credible explanation available.

That guys theories over at IA can easily be debunked. He never replied to my last post dismantling his conspiracy theory that consisted of 2% evidence (misinterpreted) and the other 98% being wild conjecture.
