Does Sandra have any intention of replying to my posts #33 #41?

#33 - see nugnug's post #34 - I concur.
#41 - a rehash of questions already addressed in #39, so, no.

Sandra I think to be fair David wanted to know whether Luke was at home or kept on remand after being charged. Any dates you could provide as recap would be useful.

Luke was remanded on April 14th 2004 and has not left prison since. He was 15 years, 8.5 months old.

Under Scots Law, he should have been tried within 110 days of being remanded, so July 28th, just a few days after he turned 16 and could be tried as an adult. The law was clear - if he was not brought to trial within 100 days, he would be free forever from the charge.

In the event, he was not brought to trial until 25th November - 225 days after he was remanded (the first trial had to be halted and re-started a few days later) - double the amount of time the law, itself, said it had to bring him to trial.

Just another one of those "little" changes of the rules in this case. The state had had 9.5 months to build its case against Luke - in late September 2003, a police spokesperson was quoted as saying the police had "as much evidence as they were likely to get" - why, then, did it take them another 7.5 months to make an arrest?

If they had "enough evidence," that means they were willing to allow someone they clearly thought they could "prove" was a vicious murderer to remain in the community for all that time, without any apparent reason for doing so. Except that, if they'd arrested him any earlier, he wouldn't have turned 16 and he couldn't have been tried as an adult.

Nope. What you're doing is utterly transparent, David and I don't have the time nor the inclination to indulge you.

The witnesses were said to have described a German Army shirt. Not jacket, not parka, shirt.

Luke is wearing a green Parka in the photo. Did the police recover one of these prior? Yes or No?

Do you think there is any connection between Mansons "Art" and this crime?

Both naked with one breast cut. Both with major cuts to the mouth.

The differences can be explained. Jodis neck is cut because the killer had to kill her quickly. She is not cut in half because the killer did not have the means to do it.

If you go onto archive.org Mansons 2003 website has those pictures on. Id be willing to bet they were in the march kerrang magazine also.

I can confirm that the paintings are not in the March 2003 Karrang magazine. Bought a copy on ebay, the article doesn't mention Elizabeth short at all. It's just about the release of his album -  'The Golden Age of Grotesque'

According to two people who have seen the crime photos. (The Judge and the pathologist) There are similarities to the Manson's photo.

From what I have read there are apparent similiarities also.

It would have to be a hell of a coincidence for the killer to unwittingly mimic the painting a few month after Manson released them. And Jodi and her social circle just so happened to be fans of his music.

maybe not full blwon goths but its clear they were fully into the alternative scene at the time as was i. band hoodies, buying clothes in flip, kerrang, smokin joints on cockburn street adn in graveyards, gettin harrassed by neds and scallies. it means nothin but that was clearly their social scene

Not with Marilyn Manson in every issue.

True, just in case you werent aware. FWIW i dont think thers any relevance in the manson / dahlia stuff anyway.
